Northam Golf Club unlocked WA Golf Foundation funding to run successful golf clinics for juniors, women and men in 2023.
Hard-working PGA pro Rob Farley delivered the sessions, with the junior clinics particularly well attended. The club now has a core group of 10 juniors who have come through the clinics and are building towards playing on a competitive level.
Wendy Richards, Secretary at Northam GC, said: “We were grateful for Rob’s time. Feedback from parents and participants is that they were all very happy and hope to do the lessons again next year.
“We would like to thank the WA Golf Foundation for providing the funding to enable these lessons to take place. We hope to keep building interest in junior golf at our club and across the Wheatbelt.”
