Due to the funding approval from the WA Golf Foundation, the Kwinana Golf Club MyGolf Program was able to purchase two large ball targets to enhance the engagement of their Stars and Masters participants.
This grant continues the trend of the Foundation seeking ways to engage younger players and help clubs break down the barriers which prevent younger people from enjoying the game. MyGolf is Australia’s national junior golf program to promote participation in golf as begun by Golf Australia and the PGA of Australia. The Kwinana Golf Club has been an avid supporter of the program for some time now and looks to increase its participation numbers in the coming future. The club currently holds three major MyGolf programs; the Rookies (5 years to 12 years), the Stars, and the Masters.
The Kwinana Golf Club appreciates the financial support provided by the Foundation and looks forward to the continued positive relationship.
